Georges River Council has advised BlueFit and Hurstville Golf Club that tree clearing will have commenced from Wednesday 21st October. Clearing will be done each Wednesday and Friday for a period of 6 weeks and the arborists will be targeting trees that are classified as dangerous.
The golf course will remain open, however, members and guests are asked to be mindful of all workmen and work sites when playing.
As for the rest of the course, the greens are continuing to improve and are looking fantastic and rolling nicely. So all we need now is some consistent rainfall for the fairways so they can soften and green up nicely.
Fingers crossed the weather Gods can deliver that wish for us.
