Despite some extremely hot days over the last month the golf course continues to look great thanks to our wonderful ground staff who have been hand watering the greens and the automated watering system that is giving the greens a good soaking in the early hours of each day.
Fingers are crossed that we receive some good rainfall this summer to keep our fairways looking lush and green.
The course improvements work is scheduled to begin early in 2021. There was an article in the St George Leader last week about these improvements.
Please be assured that Georges River Council, BlueFit and Hurstville Golf Club will create an 18 hole temporary course, so competitions and social golf can be played during the construction phase with minimal disruption.
