The works on the 1st and 10th holes are coming along nicely despite a few delays the contractors have had to endure due to striking more sandstone rock than was anticipated and a number of wet days that forced the heavy machinery to lie idle.
It’s not finished yet, but you can now start to see the contours of both holes, especially around the greens. The next works to start will be the 18th green, to be followed closely by the 9th green.
For all our golfers that use the practice range to warm up or work on your game, you’ll now have the peace of mind to hit shots without the fear of being collected by an errant shot from the 8th tee. A safety fence has been constructed a few metres behind the hitting bays thanks to Georges River Council.
