We feel very fortunate to be open for the community to play golf and lots of it is back on the agenda for many people unable to work, or those working from home or unable to travel.
Our timesheets have never been as full with social and visiting comp players unable to play at their
local course due to being outside distance regulations. Many visiting comp players have signed up as
new members which are fantastic to see!
Everyone is enjoying the immaculate conditions at Hurstville presented by Head Superintendent Peter and his team! Great Work boys considering how busy the course is.
With the lockdown, there has not been as many movements with the construction of the golf course and the new Clubhouse has works ceased in mid-July and tools remain down until we are out of Lockdown.
Last month the works commenced on Stage 1 the Cart Storage Shed. Luckily the Tree Loppers have been allowed to continue works during this time. They have cleared trees on the 5th 6th and 18 holes in readiness for the course construction work. There is also some elevation work undergoing at the back of new 9th green.
