Works on the new cart storage facility & clubhouse site preparation recommenced on Monday 16th
August. Golfers that are arriving for a game will temporarily have to navigate their way through the safety
fencing to get to the ProShop entrance.
The seating area that used to be on your left entering the facility has been cleared and half the concrete paving between the 1st tee and the ProShop has been removed. The construction of the stormwater channels and sewer lines for the new building is well on its way. All going to plan the slab for the cart shed will be laid in readiness for delivery of our new Cart Storage Shed before you read this newsletter.
As for the Golf Course works, Angus and Flemings construction crew are scheduled to recommence
the golf course works from 1st September after a lengthy delay due to the lockdown restrictions. It’s
ironic that after countless delays due to wet weather, as soon as the crew had to abandon their
machines, Sydney encountered one of the driest winters on record.
We look forward to seeing the new 9th and 18th greens evolve, as well as the new 5th tee and improvements to the 6th fairway. Let’s all keep our fingers crossed that we receive an abundance of nice sunny weather so the boys aren’t delayed any further!
