After a long delay due to COVID restrictions, the Handiskins tournament resumed on Saturday 23rd October with Round 3 being contested. The scoring was pretty good with 15 golfers playing to their handicap or better. That’s not too bad considering only 36 of 54 participants played on the day.
At the end of the day, it was Gary Reid who won the day with a solid round of 41 points. The win helped Gary climb up 5 positions on the leaderboard into the top position. Gai Rowan slipped down into 2nd position points behind Gary, whilst Peter Trethewy and Brett Ridley round out the top 4 a further 2 shots behind.
The final 2 rounds will be interesting, to say the least with any player capable of qualifying for the $1200 Skins Final which is scheduled to take place on Saturday 13th December.
