Some Respite from the Rain

After recording a whopping 1400 plus millimetres of rain (1.4m) in the past 6 months, Hurstville Golf Course finally was able to bask in some warm sunshine for a week at the start of this month and dry out substantially.

This has given Peter and his team a chance to lower the blades and cut most of the fairways to their usual height. Most of the rough has now been cut and walking is much more pleasurable for members and visitors.

Hopefully, we can get some more dry days soon and look to playing 11th and 17b again in the near future.
