Members Competitions

It’s great to see the golf course drying up, although it’s slow, carts are now allowed to be back out on the course. Some of our members are returning to golf, having not played since February. It’s great to see you out on the course swinging again.

Hopefully, things will continue to improve and some of the holes that have been closed due to flooding will re-open soon. The new holes are getting closer too and will most likely open one at a time.

With the improved conditions, we are starting to see our competition fields gradually increasing back to what they used to be before the floods. With large fields and rounds commencing off both nines it’s extremely important that all golfers turn up early and collected their scorecards at least 15 minutes before your tee time.

Please also keep in mind that you’ll need to allow 10 mins to walk down the tees 11 or 12 if starting your round off the back nine. If your tee time is 8am off the 12th tee, that means you should be starting to walk or drive down to that tee by 7:50am at the very latest, as any delay can result in holding up the rest of the field including golfers making the turn from the front nine.
