The 2026 pennant season is now in full swing at Hurstville Golf Course, with both our Major and Mixed Pennant teams already making their mark.
Major Pennant Team
Our Major Pennant Team kicked off their season on February 1st, traveling to Roseville to defend their 2025 Division 5 Metropolitan Champions title. It was a challenging start on a tough course, where local knowledge and blind tee shots play a big role. Unfortunately, the team lost their first match 5.5 to 1.5.
There’s still plenty of opportunity for a comeback, with the team set to host Roseville for the home game in the coming weeks. Members can follow all results throughout the season here!
Mixed Pennant Team
The Mixed Pennant season is also underway, with our team two games in. We began strongly with a 3.5 to 1.5 win over Macquarie Links at The Coast Golf Club on January 11th, before a narrow 3-2 loss to Mona Vale the following week at Eastlake Golf Course.
Round 3 saw Hurstville proudly host Eastlake, Macquarie Links, Mona Vale, and The Coast Golf Clubs on February 1st. Our course and hospitality received high praise from all visiting teams. A heartfelt thank you goes to all the volunteers whose efforts ensured the day was a great success.
