The Handiskins Tournament has once again proved to be one of the highlights of the club calendar, with 43 dedicated members registering to battle it out in this year’s competition.
With two rounds down and three to go, the leaderboards are tight and the race for the Club Final is heating up!
Round 1 Breakdown
Up-and-coming junior member Luke Robinson set the standard early, mastering tough conditions to take out the first round victory with an impressive 39 points.
For his winning performance, Luke walked away with a Leuk the Duck head cover, a $30 Sushi Hub voucher, and a bottle of Peter Lehmann wine, which he promised to hand straight over to his mum and dad!
Round 2 Breakdown
If Round 1 was tough, Round 2 upped the ante with howling winds and persistent rain challenging every player on the course.
Showing serious composure in the elements, Arsenio Mendoza was the sole golfer in the field to beat his handicap, turning in a brilliant 37 points to claim the Round 2 win.
As we head into Round 3, just four points separate the top four contenders.
| 1st | Arsenio Mendoza | 71 pts |
|---|---|---|
| 2nd | John Worthington | 69 pts |
| 3rd | Graeme Humphrys | 68 pts |
| 4th | David Buchanan | 67 pts |
The Road to the Final
With three rounds remaining and every contestant able to keep their best three scores while dropping the rest, the leaderboard is far from locked in. There is still plenty of time for anyone in the field to make a move and earn a spot in the Club Final on Saturday, 28th November.
Good luck to all contestants as the tournament continues!
