It’s everyone's responsibility
Georges River Council, BlueFit and Hurstville Golf Club would like to thank every member and social golfer that are caring for the golf course whilst playing their round by filling in divots, repairing pitch marks and raking bunkers. We really appreciate your efforts and encourage you to keep up the good work.
Unfortunately on the flip side we are noticing that some of the above-mentioned tasks are being left by a minority of golfers which ends up affecting the playing conditions in a negative way for all golfers. And I’m disappointed to report that some golfers have intentionally damaged the golf course by driving erratically on fairways in wet conditions. We don’t condone this lack of respect from anyone and encourage witnesses to report this behaviour to the pro shop immediately.
Finally, please encourage others to act responsibly at all times and care for our course as if it’s your own backyard. Especially golfers that are new to the game of golf. And check out our new Rules Board located beside the 10th tee before your next round of golf.
