Greens Restoration Underway at the Course

Renovation works to extend the Hurstville Golf Course greens commenced on Wednesday, April 9th, with improvements already completed on the 14th and 17th holes. As part of the project, Kikuyu grass was removed from the sides and rear fringes of the greens and replaced with fresh soil and new bent grass sods.

These upgrades have restored the greens to their original size and, in some areas, extended the edges by up to two metres. To allow the new turf to be established properly, it has been roped off.

We kindly ask golfers to observe course etiquette by picking and placing their ball at the nearest point of relief—no closer to the hole—should it land on the roped-off turf.

With warm weather on the horizon, the new turf is expected to blend seamlessly with the existing greens over the coming months. Thank you for your cooperation and patience as we continue to enhance your playing experience.
