I’m pleased to report that the golf course has finally dried out after previous months of heavy rain had left the course a heavy track. Rainfall in July was 57 mm with most falling in the first 9 days.
The fairways have improved dramatically and the new turf on the greens has bed in nicely on holes 9 and 10. On the 4th green, the mound in the centre has been shaved and replaced with new turf, which will make the green more playable and easier for the staff to maintain. More turf for the greens was delivered and laid on Tuesday 13th August.
The course will be closed on Monday 9th & Tuesday 10th September for major green renovations.
