This financial year we are directing our focus on growing our junior membership and developing the future of our golf club. We have always had a strong Junior Academy for kids aged 6 – 12 years where we currently have over 40 students participating in classes 4 days a week. Unfortunately the success of our Junior Academy isn't mirrored in our Junior participation at a club competition level for kids aged 13 -18 years.
We believe the cost of living pressures on families and the expense of playing golf may be contributing to the reduction in junior members and both social and competition play, so we have reduced the fees for junior play by well over 50%.
