The 2023 Hurstville Handiskins Competition is scheduled to start next month!
The event is amongst the most popular we host here at Hurstville Golf Course. For those that haven’t played in the event before here’s a snapshot of how the event is run.
What is the Handiskins Club Competition?
- The ultimate game of skins for club golfers.
- Handiskins is a 5 X Qualifying round Stableford competition. Players’ best 3 rounds count towards their final score.
- The best 3 out of 5 rounds aggregated will determine the 4 qualifiers for the final. In the skins final they have the opportunity to play for up to $1,200* in club or pro shop vouchers.

How does the tournament work?
- The competition is restricted to Hurstville Golf Club members only.
- Register at the Proshop before or on the day.
- Members pay a one-off entry fee of $39.00* to join the tournament.
- Registration includes:
- Five qualifying rounds of single stableford competition.
- You only need to play in a minimum of three rounds to qualify for the Handiskins Final.
- At the end of the five qualifying rounds the top four players will play in a skins final for the chance to win a share of up to $1,200* in club and or/proshop vouchers (*conditions apply – prize money subject to number of registered players – minimum 40 players required for $1,200 prize money). Refer to Handiskins website prize pool table for reduced registered players.
- Rounds One, Three & Five – include a Yamaha Nearest to Pin Competition, on a Par 3 designated by your club. The winners of the nearest to pin receive an invitation to take part in the Yamaha Chipping Competition held during National Championships 2024 – see more details below, full rules can be found on our website.
What are the rewards?
Each registered player will receive a Handiskins registration bag, including:
- 2 x Bridgestone Balls
- 1 x sachet Staminade Hydration Drink
- Handiskins Golf Tees

What rewards do the qualifying round winners receive?
Each qualifying round winner receives:
- One bottle of Peter Lehmann Portrait Wine
- LEUK the DUCK Head Cover
- A sleeve of Bridgestone Golf Balls, tailored to their game
- $30 Sushi Hub Voucher
What are the big prizes for the Skins final?
- The four finalists will receive a Bridgestone Golf cap to wear in the skins final.
- Play for a share of up to $1,200* in club and/or Pro Shop vouchers.
